Yeah I know it isn't exactly on beat, I didn't use the timing correct on the mpc, simply because I found it hard to use the swing setting on those 2 beats with all the layered cymbals & hihats. I've only had my mpc60 for two months and its my first experience with a hardware sampler/midi sequencer. I just need to learn more about all its abilities. I'm a beginner (midi wise that is). Before the MPC I was making beats (since oktober 2004) in cooledit. Wanted a rawer/warmer sound + "hands on" beatmaking ability, thus mpc. Decided to go back to audition, because I wouldn't be able to make a complex track like this with only 13 seconds of sample time (& version2.02), Wouldn't even know how to trigger the samples

. I start from scratch, usely with the main sample, and I'll see where it will lead me to. I ll just vibe of the whole atmosphere. I don't think in genres, good/bad music is the farthest I'd go concerning labeling music

. Thanx for the feedback! much appreciated.
