I have been thinking about getting it. Is it worth it im rockin' abelton 4 now. I got a potential session coming up writting some tracks for a fairly popular female pop artist. I think they are using protools so I think I may have to amp my production game to be legit and produce some stuff that will be easy for her producers to access. what do you all think?

never give a session to anyone unless u gettin paid upfront.
give them a 2 track stereo mix as long as u can get it to sound decent

Okay thanks for the heads up. Dont be fooled though I already got everything together. They only get nasty stereo mixes first for demos and then once they say yeah we like that one then we get contracts done. After that I am still stuck with how can I make it easier for them if I got ableton4 and they got protools. Thats why I was wondering if anyone knew what was up with M-Powered.

1. Can you use any midi/audio interface or does it have to be an Maudio brand? Currently I am using a Tascam interface.
2. Is it just as easy as Ableton?

u have to use an m-audio interface which in essence is a dongle. u only get 32 tracks at once. someone really needs to make a program that will open a project from any program and allow u to then save it to the one u have. and i know there is saving to omf but that is not perfected

no cracks please! go out and buy legit software and if u can't afford it save those pennies or use the vast amount of freeware. u can also buy one of the brit mags for $15 one of them gives u a sequencer and a lot of other stuff.

just wait til u hit it big and all your work gets bootlegged and your record sales suffer. we will then see what u have 2 say. it's kinda like chuck d bringing a lawsuit against biggie for sampling his voice on 10 crack commandments, but he wasn't saying nothin when he was rhyming over all those samples and not paying anyone.
