When i load a sample into the 1k do i have to chop it up first before i put it into the 1k, or can i chop it up in the trim mode? Thanks

but i chop ma samples 2 different ways:
1.
u just have to have da original sample, then from dat, on trim mode just chop different pieces dat u need using da exract function to make different separate samples
2.
just have da original sample copied several times or as many times as u need,
then just go sample by sample and trim them using da discard function

the easiest way to get exact chops using the 1000 is in the trim mode. set your start point and your end points. do the extract thing then come back to trim (for that same sample) you will notice the start/end points are still indicated with the whole sample. scroll the start point til the start and end points are the same, then scroll to your new end point. keep repeating that then just lay them all down in a new pgm. now you just chopped and zoned in the 1k
