I'm seriously considering switching from the 1000 to the 2000xl, I'm not asking for sound comparisons etc I just want to know if theres a huge learning curve going from one to the other. I've been useing the 1000 for over a year and pretty much know it inside and out, knowing that will the transition be an easy one or will I have to start all over ?

I have messed with 2000xl briefly but not long enough to get a feel for how long it will take to be proficient on it.

Thanks

i did the jump from 1000 to 2000xl and i was happier sticking with doing time stretch on Audacty and chopping on Recycle. if i where you i could stick with the 1000 (its still new and i bet they are going to have new things like a internal hard for it ) and just save and get a 4000. time stretch on the 2000xl is slow ass hell and half the time doesn’t come out the way you want it. But now if your only trying to use hardware and not trying to mess with software, then get a 2000xl. the jump isnt that hard it took me 4 days to get it down. the 1000 is so easy, i miss it, but the 2000xl is coming around. I named my 2000xl Bertha cuz she’s fat and slow, but when I finger her, she’s so worm.
