One catch though:

Image

I've contacted VST and Forat, they can both get replacement wrist supports VST sound like they can get brand new ones ($70 1-3 month wait) and Forat say they have second hand ones ($55 in stock)

This MPC is well below the UK average for a 3000 I think its too good a deal to miss. As you all know I've only just got my 60 so this is a bit OTT but **** it. Looks like it has at least OS 3.00 He can't really be bothered to tell me what RAM its got but its not a deal breaker cos its so facking cheap.

It had already been for sale for a day before I saw it so presumably the lack of wrist support put a lot of potential buyers off, or the fact that it used to be owned by scottish band Texas(s)!!
Its ungigged, studio usage only, power supply, ZIP drive, but no box

**** it I've already decided I'm having it!!!

How much did you get it for in US dollars?

Its £400 which is about $725. Its quite rare to see a 3000 in the UK for even twice that!!!

:D

anyone know the dilly about refitting the wrist support? Does it need screws? The ones above should come with screws

the real question is WHY is it missing? it's not like they fall off, and I think you need to open it to take it out, so there may be issues with it they are not telling you about. make sure you get to test it before you buy it.

There is a stick strip holding it on. Almost like double sided tape. You could get wood sides and wrist rest made locally. I decided to do have mine made locally and they turned out nice.

well as far as I know its genuine, its too far away for me to test it first. I can only think that because it was in a studio they removed the support so it could fit into a rack or some studio furniture?!? He's selling it on the behalf of a mate so I don't know if he knows anything about music gear so i can't really ask too many tech questions!

exactly! THE selling point

I've sent more questions regarding the casing, screen wrist support and I still want to get the OS and RAM out of him. I'll fill y'all in....
