hey all..

triton studio os v2 allows you to setup the internal hard drive as a "scsi target" which they're saying is for use to hook up to your computer and things..

what i'm wondering is if any triton studio / mpc 2000xl owners have used a scsi cable between their mpc and their triton studio and then configured their triton using scsi target mode so they can save MPC files directly to the triton HD ?

anybody done this? if so, lemme know cause i'm holdin out on buyin a scsi cable until then.

well, if it has a scsi id # then it should work, the issues I can see are IF:

it has the same SCSI id as the MPC and cannot be switched

THe format of the triton drive is wonky and wont work with the MPC/triton files/info.

heck, just try it out, see if you can save and load a .aps and a .all file from it.
