!!!Need Help with MIDI from Triton LE into the 1000!!!

i have a triton LE and a MPC 1000, what i want to do is record the sounds from the triton into the mpc, i just want the triton for sounds, and i want to do the sequencing and drum patterns on my mpc, but i cant figure out how to get the sounds from the triton into the mpc, i just got 2 brand new midi cables, and im started to get frustrated, i've been trying the in's and out's, help would MOST DEFINITELY be appreciated.

I aint gonna get mad at you...but a very simple search will help solve your problem...try searching "MPC 1000 and Keyboard" and you'll get more than enough to read about on that subject...also, I'm pretty sure the MPC's come with a manual and have them downloadable on Akai's website (Akaipro.com) In the manual if I can remember correctly they teach you how to do things and how to hook things up....help me help you.

or they could have easily said, sound doesnt go through midi cables. only information does. They could have told you that you need 1/4 audio cables. Hit record on the mpc's record screen and hit stop when your done.

^^^^well when i hook the LE into 1000, the sounds of the 1000 plays through the LE keys, so sound does go through the midi cables, i just gotta figure out how to get the LE sounds playin into the mpc, instead of the mpc sounds playin into the LE

No actually the LE's keys are triggering the MPC's sounds through midi. No sound goes through midi cables. You should follow everyone's suggestions and read up on midi and how it works, maybe spend a bit more time in the newbie forum, and plug your LE's outputs into a mixer if you want to hear the sounds from it.
