Just turn on the Moog and sample it. What, doesn't everyone have one?

If I don't know, google does.

Do some research on the types of records that have MOOG synthesizers used on them, then go digging. A lot of the records made in the 80's had synthesizer sounds on them (mostly pop and disco).

By the way, some records were made entirely with MOOG synthesizers. They usually have the word "MOOG" in the album title.

Example

Artist: Jean Jacques Perrey
Album: Moog Indigo
Song: E.V.A.

(GangStarr - "Just to Get a Rep") 8)

Go to www.ohmforce.com a d/l a fully working demo of Minimonster VSTi - you get about 18hrs playing time b4 it dries up. It's the best minimoog emulation out there. Render your creation to wav then load 'em up in yer MPC1000.

depends on which host program u use the vsti in.

eg. in ableton, just program a midi clip, then render yer tune or capture the audio output from the moog channel into an audio clip in another channel.

The guy who invented the Moog Synthesizer just died the other day too. :( Big ups to him! I forgot his first name though. :)
