sounds cut out

so my homie has been workin on some crazy ish he came to a point where a vocal sample cuts out in the middle of it a when a group of other samples are played, i checked the poly/mono, mute groups, switched up to note on, tried it live,,,,,its just cuts out in the middle ........i dont think we went over the polyphony limit cuz there are only 4 tracks activated......anyone know what up?? does the mpc just fold when certain frequencies are layered??

Well you might have ran over the polyphony limit just because you only have 4 tracks doesn't mean anything.

Also if you been chopping the sample you may have left it highlighted to whatever you extracted last....just a thought.

i had the same problem, just discard all the silence on your samples, they
interfear with polyphony. works like a charm after it.
