disc read error?

I just got the mpc2000 and downloaded the newest os from akai pro for it and it wont go past disc error is there a certain way to update the os? Any help would be appreciated.

look on ebay I saw em on there for about 5.00 original. if not hit me back i'll make you a copy of mine. Peace

have you tried a different disc?

yeah i copied it to several floppys and none of them would bring the os up. maybe shes just getting old

I'm not questioning your intelligence or anything but...Are you unzipping the file and only adding the O.s to the floppy?Sometimes we overlook the small things.

theres 3 things that come with the download 1 is a pdh but i added the other 2 only because the original disc i looked at had 2 things on it so i just replaced them with the new downloads. did i go wrong there?
