The problem is with the Bay, is that so many people know about and use Craigslist, that these kinds of items usually get put up there.
Then even if a good synth goes on Craigs for really cheap, they get flooded with emails of people offering them more money, then it turns into an eBay type situation. I have experienced this more than once trying to pick up cheap synths.

minimalist by style but confessed gear junky.

i think a lot can be accomplished when you know your gear in and out. if you can exploit your gear to a point then you may not need anything else. what i've found is that i take time with my equipment but i still find reasons to buy more. a sampler is not another sampler and a synth isn't another synth if you feel me.

curious about that 4-pickup squier! is that a bass pickup you threw in or what's up with the missing 2 strings?

a humbucker pickup is NOT considered two pickups. So a guitar with two single coils and a humbcker has three pickups. Like on my guitar one humbucking pickup has i volume knob and one tone knob.

I have lot of options but I prefer my 1k, soundmoudle to dress a track up, then something to record 2. The MGO is the way to go. I want to sale the 4k and 1 of the ASR's I have , but its to hard to part with a MPC. I have not been out of arms reach of a MPC in almost 2 years, its almost like giving a part of your life up.

My bad, thats were i'm geeting the 4pickup thing. cause the humbucker looks like 2 together. I didn't know THAT was a humbucker.

Now...my Black Squire 2 coils and a humbucker electric guitar with all 6 strings makes it sound a little more bad a**.

Same thing here. I have a lot of gear that I don't use, and that I keep just in case.

I am currently using: Emu SP1200 /MPC3000 + Vintage Keys+Mackie 1202+ FatMan Compressor and Lexicon MPX1.

In any event, I never use more than 3 machines on a beat, and I much prefer using just one. Lately I've been using the SP1200 alone more and more, and I am loving it.

yeah...rockin the SP1200 solo or with the S950 is a blessing from God.
