Keyboard to MPC 60

.....I've just hooked up a keyboard to my MPC 60 I for the first time ever !
The Midi-out from the Keyboard to the MPC's midi-in and the other way around. I think there's something wrong with my routing-settings because the MPC won't record anything of my keyboard playing through Midi !

I've downloaded the manual, but can't figure out what to do !

My MPC 60 runs O.S 3.10

Can someone please guide me through the world of Midi.......I've never worked with Midi before......

O.k.............After fiddling around with the set-up I'm a few steps forward now.

However I still have a problem.
If I load a program (sounds) and a sequence and play this everything is o.k.

If I hook up my Keyboard ...Midi-connected...............It plays the keyboard notes simultaniously with the programmed drum sounds ?

So I guess I have to somehow assign the keyboard notus to the free pads left ? .......And not the ones already in use/filled with drum sounds ?

select midi channel, change type drum to midi, play keyboard.

you want to turn local off on your keyboard probably, and you want to read the manual, again and again, it really helps.
