ok -- sooo - im not sure how best to describe this orr i prolly would have found it in the manual-- in fact i thnk i may have seen the answer in another thread butt now i cant find it --

anyway

how can i make a sound play only for the length of time i hold down the sample -

like- say - in trim mode -- if i just tap a lower pad it will play only for a short burst -- whiich makes intresting rolls and such -- so - ????

ideas-?? i sure hope the mpc can do this -- ive been running into alot of things it cant do latly :(

yes. and i just got my mpc yesterday. :D

from my experience reading this forum for a few months, it seems that there are creative ways around some of the ffeatures nmot included in the mpc1000... and if you dont even bother to read the manual, your not even going to be able to take advantage of all the ones that ARe included.

Did you learn how to drive a car before you got one or did you just get in and hope you'd figure it out while you were going?

you know what -- ivbe read most of the **** manual - i just missed this -- and you know why your bothering me about it? - because your **** shitheads with nothing better to do - so **** off -

aand the car analogy doesnt work - of course i spent a bit of time grinding gears before i got it right -

theres no reason to not give a simple answer to a simple question,

even just saying - try page blah blah blah or (link)- no reason other than some kind of elitist internet bull shit

how's this for elitist internet shit:

Once you know as much about the mpc1000 as many of us do here, you too will be extremely irritated to have to answer a very basic question such as this...
