Note Varieation Knob

How many of you really use this? i never used it to make it beat.....what kind of things do you do with it personally?

I mostly use it to set the trim points when editing and zoneing samples.

You can make a beat and assign the slider to a pad and, while the beat plays, fine tune the decay, velocity, attack or tuning of that pad.

usually i just jiggle that thing and beats come out, nah works a treat for decay on hats, doing snare rolls with the filter sweeps and shit. if only you could do velocity, or tweak more than one sound with it at a time, say a group of sounds. that would be dope.

You can't do velocity? I coulda sworn you could. Is this a 2000/2000xl difference?
