PC programs

PC programs

I noticed alot of people use PC programs combined with there MPC.

For what do you use computer programs? are there any more options like that or what?

i use Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit) to edit my music. its a nice program...

Can you make a complete track without a pc program, using your MPC only?

because software comes with a lot of other features that can help your music. adobe audition has lots of effects and eq's and stuff like that...coming straight from the mpc, the track would be pretty raw. not mixed down. nothing eq'd, etc...

Plus, the screen on an MPC is a lot harder to see than the one on my PC. Editing soundwaves on the MPC is moderately dificult. On CEP, my girl perfectly looped a sample on her first try at EVER looping. In other words, MAD SIMPLE.

If i connect my MPC to my computer and use a program.. how does it works?
will i be looking at my pc screen instead of my MPC screen?

noooo he probably mean like if you want to chop a sample and loop it, it would be easier to do on the computer THEN transfer the sample to the mpc...but you wont see your mpc screen...
