I seen this on http://djsemantik.com website.

Poll : Who is the greatest beat digging producer?

Pete Rock 1 (20.00%)
DJ Premier 1 (20.00%)
Diamond 1 (20.00%)
Beatnuts 0 (0.00%)
Beatminers 0 (0.00%)
Q-Tip 0 (0.00%)
Showbiz 1 (20.00%)
Mad Lib 1 (20.00%)
Large Professor 0 (0.00%)
Alchemist 0 (0.00%)

I can't believe they got Q-Tip iand Showbiz in there. Actually I'm surprised Large P hasn't gotten a vote. But it's still early in the votes.

I can't believe ALC and Large Professor have not gotten any votes. This poll must have just started.

I cant believe Marley Marl, RZA and Prince Paul arent on there. I also cant believe Alchemist is on there. He's dope as hell but not on that level.

But the poll is about beat digging producers. Kool Herc, Bambaataa, Flash, Jazzy Jay ..... all original diggers, yes, but Herc never made records & the others didn't "produce" in the same way as the guys in this poll.

Marley Marl ..... definitely the pioneer of using sampled drum breaks instead of drum machines.

Where the fuk is RJD2?!?!?!?!

I'll repeat that..

WHERE THE FUK IS RJD2?!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

I firmly believe that this kids beats are 99.99% samples, and he's got the hottest beats in the world (well maybe not that hot, but his sh!t is HITTIN')

EDIT: Just wanted to edit and say, before anyone else implies otherwise, no I do NOT have RJD2's d!ck stuffed into ANY orifice on my body. I just believe in giving credit where credit is due.

In my opinion is Jazzy J, anyone who saw the movie scratch should know
what I'm talking about. The only place I have ever seen that many records is in a record store.
