Passing audio

I was wondering since I only have 2 inputs on my sound card if I patch my motif through the mpc 1000 will the audio always be passed to the computer or do I have to be in sample mode?

no dice, i think-- it only puts it thru when yer on the record screen.

if im wrong about that somebody pls tell me; i had the same thought that its a handy way to mix together mpc + something else on the cheap.

That's not going to work. You might consider getting yourself a small mixer to run everything into then the 2 main outs into your audio interface. Or buying a bigger interface. The M-Audio Delta1010 is good for this, it's cheap and has 10 ins and outs at 96kHz 24-bit.
