None of my drumpads are working on my 2kxl. It doesn't look as though anything is broken. Any ideas?

The MPC is not responding to the pads at all

i opened the mpc up to try to clean note variation slider and when i closed it back the pads stopped didn't work. i'm hoping that i didn't mess up the pad sensors. i don't really know what else to think.

you pulled the ribbon out, open it back up and reattatch it. You have to pull the lil black bracket to the side, reinsert the ribbon and then slide the bracket back into place.
