whats the major advantage of using a mixer along with a mpc

A mixer allows you to eq and mess with the levels of all your sounds. Basicly it helps put everything where it needs to be.

yeah
and i like it better doin it on da mp because u can save it when u save ur project
on a mixer every song u would have to do it different ( if u wanted)
and u won't rememba da eq and volume for every beat u ever made

Really? How do you EQ on the MPC, besides the PITCH setting?

You can't eq every sound on the mpc like you can on a mixer. You can only eq the whole mix on the mpc. Also if you buy any other piece of equipment you are going to need a mixer to hear all your equipment at the same time.

so on the 1000 if i save as a project eq settings will b saved also for the project???

I know that what I was saying is you can't apply a different eq to every single sound like you can with a mixing board. Why'd you ask the question it sounds like you already have your mind made up that you can do everything you need to do inside your mpc.
