sync mpc mmc to cubase sl3

i wanna know how to set the midi machine control on the mpc2kxlso i can press play and it will trigger off cubase sl3 to follow the comand im running my mpc 8 outs into my presonus firepod and i got the midi in and out pluged in to the mpc and firepod please help

go to your sync menue on your mpc. then in cubase, go to the transport tab up top and scroll down to your sync set up. rout the setting through the correct midi channel (from the mpc and to cubase) and make sure your settings match within the mpc and cubase. then make sure sync is activated in cubase.. you just click it on the same scroll down menue that the sync set up was on and its right next to sync setup. you might want to have the timecode active also. good luck.
