Check the PDF at roger linn design for installing the upgrades, it shows you how to take it apart.

It isn;t the screwsin the plastic endcheeks, but the ones under the plastic endcheeks.

The first time I opened it I took off the endcheeks and was puzzled why it didn't open until i saw the other screws?

I once opened an old keyboard and when I hinged up the lid there was a dead spider hanging on a piece of web spinning like 3 inches from my eye. I screamed like a woman when that happened!!

Well I opened up my 60 to try and fix that button. The button is not upside down it is infact the wrong button. So I will probably try and buy a new button when I get a new screen. How much should a new button cost? I think I'm gonna have telesis do my screen. I was really suprised by how easy it is to open the 60. You just take off both sides then take off those lil screws under the sides. Are all mpc's this easy to open up?

No actual spiders but I did find webs so there may be a dead spider in there. :D

You don't have to tke off the sides, it's just the two screws under the sidepanels and it flips up.

No, the 60 MK I is the easiest MPC to open.

Oh.......well I did alot of extra work for no reason. :? Anyways I am loving the 60. I ain't making any beats today though. I'm just going through my records and sammpling everything I hear. (I'm trying to get out of a slump) I haven't made a keeper in about a week. :(

Yeah, beat slumps suck...but at least they are temporary.

What's funny is that I could be in a REAL RUT, but then someone will be like, "Yo, I just heard that joint you did with so and so and it was FIYA!".

They have no idea about 2 things:

1) I prolly did that joint anywhere from 6 months to a year ago, and...

2) At that moment, they could prolly make a better beat than I could right then.
