MIDI interface

How do you setup a MIDI interface?
I have a PC, MPC1000, and a MT4, and I plan on using soundforge for the software.

Mate your going to have to be more specific in how you want to incorporate MIDI in your setup, for MIDI and SF8 dont work.

3 reasons to use a pc are for
-sequencing
-recording
-sound editing.

Sound Forge is mostly for editing.
For just that u don't really need a midi connection.

For the other purposes u are better with something like cubase or protools etc.
