Can u use computer effects in realtime with the mpc?

Can u do this in some way?
like adding eq from cubase on one of my snares in the mpc2000xl?

Yeah you can record the sound or better yet if Cubase reads .wav files u can load it there add effects, save and load back up in your mpc. Now u say real time so if u wanted to do that u would have to sync your mpc via MIDI and also have the outs of the mpc going into the cmputer to record as you go. Not real sure though but i think thats right but I know the first thing I said will work.

naw man i havent heard of anything like that - at least not yet....

you'll probably need an effects processor or something

if you have a hardware accelerated soundcard you can do it.

i can add reverb etc with my emu 0404, and its in realtime

if your soundcard got internat effects?

I do that with a DIGI001 & Pro Tools LE. It has a latency of 2 milliseconds. Good enough. I run 10 mono tracks through RTAS without problems. Some plugins have more latency than others tho, be aware of that. A card with a chip with onboard hardware FX is cool but most of those FX are rubbish
