Hello!

I heard about the 8MB Flash ROM for AKAI Samplers few years ago.
I never heard about bigger capacities than 8MB.
Is that right?
There are nowadays no 16 or 32 MB or so FlashROMs possible to work with S2000, MPC2000?
Or is this a limitation of the OS that can not handle bigger FlashROMs?

Mutec makes a 16 meg flashrom card that will work in the S2000, XLsamplers and MPC2000 (the FMC02), they have it listed on the Memory Expansions for Musical Instruments section of their web-site. The Mutec memory expansions can't be used in the MPC2000XL as they are too long to fit. You can only fit the AKAI flash rom in the MPC2000XL.

I´ve installed on my MPC 2000 the mutec 16Mb flashrom and the mpc only takes 8Mb, so I think it´s not possible to get 16Mb or the mpc can´t handle more than 8...
or maybe I´m wrong and somebody could help me. Thanks.
