Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I don't have the classic 2000, but on the XL you go to MIDI screen, set recieve MTC at 30 frames per, and recieve MMC to "on". Then you go into the options in CEP and enable Master. I like doing it the other way 'round tho, making the MPC master, that way, when the track is finished, CEP automatically stops recording, keeping all the tracks the same length, but I find that CEP crashes more when its the slave. Set the SMPTE monitor 'on' in the status bar, and you'll be able to keep an eye on the % of SMPTE...ummm....errr.....I dunno what the % represents, but 100 is good and 0 is bad. SMPTE lock maybe?
