the rz-1 is pretty cool....altho the midi implementation on it is a bit weird...it doesnt seem to like syncing to clock...tho it works fine as master clock..i usually program it with the tr-505.

the power bill isnt that bad...as long as everything isnt on at once all the time.

not me...I run everything through 2 power conditioners and I'm so scared of a voltage jolt or an electrical fire that will burn my house down while i'm at work..so I turn off and unplug everything. Everything you see is unplugged until I need to use it.

Yo vinz do you sequence with ASR at all. I tried to sequence on mine. It was easy but some reason compared to the mpc I didn't like it.

yes ! it is niiiiice. Took me 2 years to find the beast. but you gotta admit it ; 2midi ins , 4 midi outs, 99s eq + 99 tracks........ Midi production center, thats its name isn't it ?! ASr is a good sampler/keyboard, but the sequencer is... well not as good as the 60.

No doubt homie I hear ya on that. I messed with a 60 at pawn shop once, and seemed so much easier to get to everything, without having to flip through a bunch of screens. I was able to figure out alot of stuff on it within a short period of time messin with it, with out the manual, or any previous knowledge of its workings.

im new to MPCz, and seeing ppl rocking the older MPCz is lyk ppl being on Atari while u got playstation2 out. and just toooooo funny when ppl try to say the Atari is much better than the PS2.
