Switching programs on sound module

I just got a sound module and Im hopin someone can help me with this... lets say ive got my sample in then i use a kit the module sound to record the bass, how do i switch to lets say a snare kit without the bass sound changin to a snare?

you gotta switch to the next MIDI channel on the module (as well as the mpc).

so on the module say the bass is on MIDI channel 1, you want the snare to be on channel 2.....or any channel other then 1

but make sure your on the same channel on the mpc. so if your workin on channel 1 on the module, make sure your on channel 1 on the mpc too! if your on channel 4 on the module, make sure your on channel 4 on the mpc!

also make sure you have the sound module set up in multitimbral mode if you havent already.
