It's Carry IISDMC reader, but not longer manufactured.
It looks the same as the one from MCD model, except the different bezel colour.

I've had a big problem to find IDE/ATAPI card reader for XL, because all today's readers are USB only (even those internal).

I was looking for Europe seller, I found those:

http://www.bebensee.de

From the last one listed I've bought the IISDMC and it works, but I've tried only with SD cards. Just do not format the card under OS 1.14, because I was not able to read data from it (even system OS), unless I've upgraded OS to 1.2 (from my digi camera SD card)

Thats the one I'm using. The Microtech PCD-47B. You just have to make sure its the read/write type of card reader. There are other kinds for ATAPI and SCSI but I heard the 47B was the better.

Mad easy. When I got the 47b card reader, the guy didn't send a 50 pin SCSI ribbon cable. Luckily, I had an old Smart & Friendly SCSI cd writer and I used the ribbon cable from that. I had to mess with the jumper settings and now it works great.
