I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

I made a simple 4 bar kick snare hat sequence right when I got in the door from work and let it play while I was hanging my coat up and turning on the PC and generally settling in.

I was noticing that every once in awhile there would be a note out of place or one of the notes would phase. It was pretty much random and happened a few times while I was playing the sequence. I was letting it play for under 10 minutes but no more. Anyone have a similar experience?

Yeah, it's weird ain't it? It doesn't happen all the time though, just kinda once in a blue moon.

Which os are you running? I noticed I'd have timing problems in practice if mine was left on far ages, but then one of the os updates fixed it and it's been fine since.

whatever the last OS is 1.07 or something. I can't remember. I just turned the thing on. It happened about a month ago too.

I made a beat yesterday and it was stealing notes like a muthafucca too. I couldn't even put everything in the beat that I wanted to cause the main sample would dissappear, and trust me it was a pretty simple beat. Just a kick, snare, two different hats, and a bass sound, and the main sample. I had to go in and change every sound to mono before it would let me add anything else. I couldn't even do a drum roll or a fill cause other sounds would start disappearing. I was like :?.

This ish ain't much better than a cheap sp 303 I bought earlier this year, which sucks, because I program everything in my beats, and this was 3 times the price or more.

This next update better be effin good or I'm getting rid of this right here. The beats just ain't coming out nice like how they did on the 4k, and these other problems too. pshhh The 1k would have been gone, but I can't get the machine I wanted for the moment, so I'm stuck with this little headache of a machine for now. :x

I have a brand new MPC 1000 and keep it in perfect condition, so that's not that problem here.

I never have any problems with my 1K either. This problem has only happened to me once though.

Yeah...this stuff doesn't happen all the time, but I notice the note stealing on the regular.

Try getting a beat going then try to do some rolls and fills and schit with the sequence playing with the pads. You will probably lose at least one of your other samples for sure.

i dont think its a "1k" problem, i have it to on my 2kXL. sometimes just random phasing on mostly drumhits but it goes away. i might be typical to used gear like mikettm said, i dont know.

For real? Never happened with my 4k, and that jammy was used and shipped across the continent twice, and that was just while I was the owner, who knows what happened to it previously.
