Thought it was pretty obvious by the pics but I'll give you my take. Look at the "constipated ice grill on his face". Posing like he's some don or something. Looks so forced, airbrushed and plain corny. He looks like an idiot.

That's cool that he's not posing in front of a rented house and vehicle, but still, I have never been a fan of that whole thing.

I've always heard you shouldn't smoke around your gear. And I always see adds stating "in a smoke-free studio". But what exactly does smoke do to gear? Is it a matter of smoke settling in the crevices? Does it actually shorten the live of some gear?

smoke actually flowers up a lot of electronics like transistor devices, condenser mics, tubes, lamps...

because the particules of smoke are so thin that they can get through a lot of materials and/or create a thin layer of "dust"

(that s one of the reason why it causes cancer)
