What's good? Thought I'd sign up since I just ordered my MPC 2000XL, which should come next week, really hyped about it.
I've been making my beats with FruityLoops and a midi keyboard so far so I'm completely new to hardware sequencers. The MPC I have purchased will just come with a power cable but no other cables and I'm wondering about setting it up.
I know I need a midi out lead to connect my Midi controller, but what about speakers?
I see a lot of threads saying about their studio monitors and all that, but I have a real decent surround sound system which would be a dream if I could hook it up to my MPC when I get it.
So my main question is - how does the MPC connect to audio output i.e. what connection type does it use? Will I be forced to buy studio monitors?
My surround sound has connections for: Optical, Coax and Direct connections - will the MPC be capable of connecting to any of those?
Thanks in advance
