i feel relieved...

i have a thing for nice small gear, this thing looks to be bigger like the 2k etc (?)

if its big, i'll still feel glad i got the 1k :)

The 2500 looks tight. The black paintjob looks a hell of alot better than all the other MPCs, especially the layout which seems like it would be more comfortable to work with. Considering the price and the fact that I bought the 1k less than a year ago, I'd rather wait things out anyway and let the production line run for a while, incase there's any defects that need to be taken care of.

I really don't understand why people think that Akai would keep thier MPCs the same color. It's not as if they were always blue anyway until the 1k hit the market. I'm just glad i saw this link and was able to download some more of Adam Jay's sets from his website. 8)

Am I the only one who thinks this thing looks kinda old? What's with the ventilation vents along the top.

Plus, I'm guessing that the screen is the same size as the 2000xl's, so it's gotta be at least a few inches smalled in both length and width.

Not saying there won't be a new MPC but there's no way that's it. People playing pranks when they could be making beats. End of story.

That said, there was no way I believed Owen would sign for the TOON either. That was a slice of humble pie that tasted very nice!

i posted this in the other 2500 thread and no one replied. does no one think this is wierd: check the pic. you can clearly see where the power cord would go and what looks like 2 outs. where are the other 8 outs? other than that i think the pic looks real but that makes it real suspect. where else would they be besides the back panel?

anyone?

Apart from the fact it's a photoshopped mythical mpc, I think those two on the right look like rcas for s/pdif in and out. The outs would be underneath I guess. I'd be more worried about why the pads all look like they're leaning to the left when the rest of it is straight up.

so this is proving the point that the 2500 does in fact exist.

If were to get this, which I'm not I would wait at least 1 1/2 to 2 years before purchasing this. Let them work all the bugs out of this machine. just my opinion. All the luck to those who are sellin their gear as we speak to get this. jus jokin (though there might be a few out there)
