ok so i bought my MPC2000xl the other day from my boy and he gave me ashitload of cables and all that junk a SCSI jaz HD and all that junk... it had a grip of samples on it that i can mess around with.... but I dont have the original CD that came with it... i dont even know if it was supposed to come with a CD... anyone got any information on this?

You can get some of those stock sounds (maybe all of them?) from akaipro.com

If you can't find what you want, I'll burn you a copy and send it to you COD for shipping cost + $1, just don't expect me to be quick, I'm hella busy lately.

Well... :lol:

I'm not sure what the sounds on the website are cause I haven't used them and haven't ever used the CD that came with my XL, but I would assume they're probably the sounds, or very similar to what is supplied on the 2000XL factory CD-Rom.

No he is not my son thats my lil bro. He loves music he used to bang on my Zoom MRT-3 when I had it. All he does is play PS2 or come in the studio with me when he isnt doing hw or in school. He is only 4 years old.

You can look but I doubt you'll find anything. Not many people would actually want it that someone would have gone to the trouble of uploading it to a website etc. If you want it that bad take one of these guys up on their offers, or I can send you a copy.

newsflash, i no longer need it lol

i finally got some hosa audio cable to hook it up to my Audiophile 2496 so i can sample straight from my PC now so im cool.
