How do you organize......

How can I use my laptop to organize my records. I have heard people say the do this. What program would you use?

How do you do divisions then sub-divisions? What do you mean by that?

hahaa! i couldnt find it either! its hidden very well.. you have to press the circle on the right side of "download" , the three triangles are pointing to it


install notes: during installation press "volgende" and "einde" in the end. then start the exe and then a box comes up, press the right button, then the program stops and u have to start the executable once more

im gonna do it aswell. good idea! (for lending records and stuff)
**** excel, i always hated that program @ school

There are lots of programs out there that allow you to organize your CD collections. I've used Excel and I've used one of these programs and I think they both do the job well.

If you want to organize your collection faster and easier, use one of those programs.

I am assuming this is done alphabetically?

Basicly the number id is what I'm gonna be using to find a record if I am looking for it. On my shelves I am gonna use dividers to divide the records into increments of maybe 20. Like if I'm looking for the meters struttin I could just type it in my computer and see that its number 1 so I'll know where to look. If there is a better way I should be doing this let me know.

If your records are oraganized by genre and then artist finding that meters record would not need a computer app.........

now i'm feeling old, but i really dont get the point of organizing on a computer w/o actual audio files????????????
