TP, you were the 1st in this thread to suggest the pic was photoshopped. Basically, eating "crow" or "humbie pie" means that you are eating your words because you were proven wrong.

Now.......how is it?

Don't feel bad, in some countries Crow is a delicacy I'm sure.

when i say something, it's because i know it to be true. i have no reason to lie on here. i don't gain anything by doing so.

i may not know everything (and i don't pretend to) but what i do know, i know it well.

that's exactly it...... the list price is $1999USD but it's going to go for around $1599 - $1799USD

imma play devil's advocate.

can someone tell me what's the advantage of getting the 2500 over a mv8k?
the mv8k has more features and costs around the same.

The 2500 is going to be a lot simpler and more intuitive to use than the MV. It probably has better sound too. Nothing I heard on the MV quite has the same punch that the MPC's give, even though it has a nice pro sound to it. The on-board mastering and such seems more geared toward traditional pop tastes than Hip Hop tastes on the MV. I say this cause the onboard mastering on the MV is mostly presets. I still have to go throught the manual to find out if the mastering is actaully tweakable. If it is..then you could probably get MPC like results on it. Probably have to do a lot of tweaking though.
