Backlight fix

I have this MPC60 with a broken backlight. I can still read the letters on it but only with a light direct on it. I will ruin my eyes like that...
I think this is only a small part that needs replacement but my question is if i can do this myself? Also what should i change, only some kind of a bulb? Since i don't have a service manual for my 60 does anybody know if this is the same backlight as the MPC3000? The link for it on MPC3000.com does not work on my computer...

i'm not sure if you meant searching these forums but i did that and didnt come up with anything. i need to replace my backlight and if you could point me in the right direction i'd greatly appreciate it.

I think he or backlights.co.uk has a tutorial on how to replace a backlight.

If it is for a 60 mk I, get the white backlight, you won't regret it.
