$$ I Can't Play Midi KeyBoard threw my MPC 4000

alright i went and bought a Midi Chord and i got a Chord From the output of The midi Keyboard to the rec in line/mic in put and the Midi to the Midi in I slot but yet i still cant hear wut is playin on my keyboard threw my MPC 4k and it would help alot if somone could help me im new to the forum so show some love to ya boi.

iz there anythang im over lookin i read threw the user guide and i didn't really see wut i was lookin for in there do i need to switch somthin on the trak so that it plays threw and i can record it??

Are u wanting to use your keyboard as a controller or record sounds from it into your MPC? Answer that then i can go from there.

i wanna use the sounds on my keyboard on my mpc i figg'd out how to use the keyboard as a trigga already. but i cant hear the sound of the keyboard threw my MPC. do i have to load them on my MPc or somfin?

MIDI triggers, doesnt send sound. The sounds will come out of the keyboard, get a mixer and run the MPC and the keyboards audio out through it to combine the sounds.

A DJ mixer will work. Just make sure you put them in the LINE inputs not PHONO
