You can read the manual and find out much faster.

or you could have said yes or no, i doesnt have a undo button, i dont know if there is another way to undo, hopefully someone can be helpful and give an answer about that.

The MPC3000 doesn't have an "UNDO SEQ" function.

You can exploit use of the sequence looping functions in a certain way to sort of emulate an "UNDO SEQ" function.

Think "EDIT LOOP" and revise the appropriate section of your MPC3000 manual to understand how this kind of function works.

Cool.

Rohan.

yup, Rohan has it. in Edit loop you have an undo option, but I just record to separate midi tracks so erase is my undo ;)

"hopefully someone can be helpful and give an answer about that."

I cannot think of an answer more helpful than RTFM.

This place is all charity work. You do not get "help" until one "helps themself" first. "Yes or no" is not help. It does not teach someone to look out for himself and only sets him up to be dependent on others to do their thinking for him for the rest of his life.

When people like Rohan started working with MPC's, there was no mpc-forums or futureproducers. No one to run to get help. All he had was persistence, the manual, and the MPC itself. If he could not figure how to do something between those three things, he was going hungry.

What the f*ck are you talking about?? What is this great information that needs to be hoarded anyway?? Now that we got tons of DAW software and 2 samplers available for every man alive at reasonably affordable prices, not to mention every drum sound, drum break, or obscure sample available for free download if not available throught peer-to-peer networks, what is so valuable that it need be preserved for the next generation of bitter purist haters?? Oh, not to mention the various websites that got mad data on what breaks come from where.

We need to put a stop to the bullsh*t ASAP. It's all about ideas and connections at this point. You can do whatever you feel is best, but I ain't contributing to that madness anymore. I'm done trying to be humble on this piece. I hold my own based on my own dues paid I don't need approval from anybody...nor my points contested, or my posts micromanaged, so if you think it's in the wrong thread tell a f*ckin moderator I don't want to hear it. Thank you.

you kind of missed the point there

it's like them dudes that can't play Resident Evil without a walk-through.. if they keep on reading the walk-throughs, they aren't going to learn to play by themselves

You guys are taking things the wrong way. This is a forum not an online manual.

The problem with message boards is that many people refuse to put in any work for themselves and just decide to ask others to do the work for them. It's like Kanye sampling CD's that his friend puts together for him, it's laziness.

What, are manuals antiquated these days? Noone's trying to hoard any information. If people would actually put in an effort, they'd find that a lot of information is right under their noses. However, if they keep on depending on others to reveal the "ancient scrolls" to them then they'll always feel that info is being witheld.

Like MPC3000 said, back in the day people didn't have these forums to go to. You actually had to spend time with your manual and your machine and learn it yourself. You actually had to put in an effort rather than just being a spoiled newjack and having others do all the work for you.

No wonder music is so watered down and weak these days. Very few are putting in real work to master their craft on their own.

if you look at kanyes artical in scratch mag he says that all he does is steal other peoples discs and samples, so if you call that not mastering your craft, a guy that hasnt mastered is caft is putting out the best beats right now.

don't get this wrong, i like kanye's beats and all, but in no way is he making the best beats right now!

MPC3000 is spot on. It's the give a man a fish vs. teaching him how to fish. It's like posting "how do I use midi?" You really think I'm gonna explain it to you when you got a million explanations if you just went to google? or in your manual? or just by using your machine you could figure it out. If all you know is what other people told you, you know absolutely nothing.

who is then? you could say dre, just blaze, premo, hes up there with them, makes more beats then any of them right now
