Recycle (HELP PLEASE!!!!!)

I'm having a real hard time dealing with this program.
How can I open my files with recycle? (I basically have all my music in iTunes) do I have to convert the files?, if so, how?

I'm cant remember for certain but i'm pretty sure files have to be in WAV or AIFF format to be opened in recycle.

The better otion for you is open just loops of your music. Open the music you have in the computer, the crop or cut the break, or loop you want and export them as .wav or aiff (if you are on a mac). Then you gotta count how many bars you have (or want) in the loop, (for example, 2 bars and 3 beats, or 3 bars and 0 beats) so the program can stretch more accurately the loop, so when exprt the midi file you can manipulate the loop as clay from any sequenecer. Well and you can convert them from a audio editor as Audacity (free I think), or anything similar.

you need to burn you itunes songs to cd then rip them, which creates wav files and then load the wav file into recycle.

or just open the files you want to use in another wav editor and save them as WAV files

Itunes converts all imported songs to mp3 unless you have selected otherwise in your preferences. Dont use mp3's or other audio that has been converted from mp3 to make music. Converting anything to mp3 is a destructive audio proccess thats only benefit is small storage space. You will get much better results with audio that was originaly and still is wav or aiff.

i may be wrong but itune files are mpeg4 files, true? i think you must burn your mpeg4 files to cd then convert them to wav file.

jeez, its not that hard.

itunes is great if you use it correctly. Just go up to the preferences menu and toggle it between converting files as mp3 or wav. Then you can just drag the files straight out of itunes into another folder or whatever, so that you can edit them further.

If You are loading big files recycle can only load up to a certain amount. and also check what file type it is, recycle only reads Wav. Aiff, and its native file format.

No, itunes has a feature that allows you to convert itunes formatted files to wav or mp3. you don't have to burn to cd then rip......

but recycle only opens .wav, .aiff, rx2 and rex files. whatever sample you have, has to be in either of those formats. once you have it opened, you can do what u need to do then export it back to .wav or whatever.
