yea that was the first day it came out. it was on rhapsody. man tons of people have that album out here! me and my cousin were listenin to it yesterday. a coworker pulled up several tracks from the album on rhapsody. its not a very good album to me.

you can only play 30 sec samples on rhap. that was all i needed. i wasnt impressed with the snippets either! i like kanye. i think his first album was great. i dont think he did well this time (rapping). the beats are fine. he took a whole new direction with the classical stuff. more instruments. but he shouldnt rap.

This album isn;t over anybody's head. That's like saying puffy is ahead of his time only kanye is trendier right now.

Go buy some pepsi and a LV purse, maybe a pink shirt and some lip stick.

As cocky as Kanye West is I think there are some good tracks on here. Some are just **** up (especially that MF Doom style track). I'm giving Late Registration a 2/5.

Because Dre does it better himself, and Kanye... ;)

I feel the cd is creative....some of y'all r just plain ole hatin' member kanye started like many of us a mp,roland1680,asr....so I'm proud of dude.no you can't please everybody, but money talks.as far as help goes that shows he's smart enough to know when he needs it and is not too proud to ask for it(learn a lesson).not only that if he ask one of us for help we would be calling all over the place lettin' everybody we 'bout to fly out to HELP mr.west, but since its not you, he dont get your respect.what will they say about you when and if you get to that level! this cd goes far beyond hiphop, which by the way is seldom heard on radio(royalties).lyrically he's making since, plus I can understand him,it's not all bounce with me plus he's being him,not a studio gangster!!! big ups kanye.

dudelers

go to kanyewest.com and preview the entire album on its media player hosted on the site.

Personally i think the album as a whole sucks. I dont like any of the singles. But to be fair, there are 3 decent songs.

Kanye the super producer is a homo. He sounds like an amatuer who just happens to have a gigantic budget. i think its just plain ridiculous. I think he has made some hot beats.........but I dont think it extends much past that. Hes got so much hype but nothing phenominal. Like hes got a bunch of yes men around him. No ones telling him that he sounds like shit, because a million idiots buy his shit-they all say yes cuase they want a piece of the pie too. okay, maybe thats a little harsh, but, come on. Common only agreed to work with him because hes so big right now. Im not doubting that hes a good producer. But I dont think he can compare to just blaze, timbo, rza, dre, etc. There are alot of producers who deserve some credit. And there are some producers or artists that are alot better. But some how everyone wants to such his dick.

Mom's around the country act like hes saving hiphop. They buy his albums and think hes a good influence on thier children. ooooh he rhymed about jesus.........now hes our savior genius and speaks for the entire hiphop culture. we all should bow down to his intelect when he graces the mic.

its all over produced. it doesn’t come out natural and seems forced.

cyrus summed it up nicely.

I really like the album

It is nice to know, that someone, that is similar to the rest of us, can blow up & get paid

beats are excellent, especially "heard 'em say" ill sythn breakdown

I hate the nas track

I think, that kanye finds a sample, then gets someone to recreate it, and habd him a multitack version of the original 2 track sample.

I wish i could do that.

ya'll are being to hard on him

as of right now, I like college dropout better.

kanye, if anything, has been real consistant
with the beats, and his antics

he doesn't try to front, he just be's himself

I think alot of the ahte stems from jealousy
By 4dahaterz Fri Sep 02, 2005 4:02 pm
he doesnt front, thats what most people on here want.... like they are .... someone thats going to front, tell them lies about how they believe or act as if they block is.....its ok to me to have an opinion, but dont get into hater mode

At first listen (just scheming through tracks) I thought it was horrible and I called my friend to try to stop him from buying it....3 hours later I was calling him back telling him it was a classic and probably one of the hottest albums I have ever bought....You just have to really listen to understand whats going on....It's better then his first album in a sense that it's not just sped up soul samples on just about every track....He said it himself, "How many sped up soul samples do you want?"....If his album was like that then he would be selling out and I respect him for doing something so different....No one else in Hip Hop could have put this album together and made it hot!!!!
