MPC 2000xl to Midi control Fruity Loops? is this possible?

wassup..I basically would liek to know if anyone has successfully linked the Mpc 2000xl to control fruity loops? I use alot of vstis in fruity and I would liek to know how to play the vsti's on fruity but controlling them with the MPC.. My midi keyboard at the studio I frequent controls fruity well but I cant seem to get my mpc to do the same..Can it?

any help would be appreciated.. and if all possible, keep it simple ..I'm not too midi knowledgable..lol

The answer to this question is on this site but I will give u an answer anyways. Just hook your mpc up to your computer the same way you hook your keyboard up to the computer. Now go to a midi track in your MPC and it should work.

thanks for ya help..and i did a search and couldnt find an answer here thats why I asked..if there is an answer here, please point me in the right direction..I'd appreciate it..

as for what you suggested, I've done that and its not working..I dont know why..I'm thinking I might have to 'assign' channels but I dont know jack about that...was wondering if someone here did..

by the way, do you have an mpc connected to fruity in the way you've stated ? and does it work for you, straight up like that, or is there something extra you do to make it work?
