madlib w/ 1k?

i know you guys seen this vid, but did you notice the 1k he uncovers bout 5:50 in?

It wasn't Madlib with the 1k. The 1k was in DJ Roam's Studio. I believe madlib's brother Oh No uses the 1k. Madlib has a 4k in his studio.

first of all, ONE already covered this. and second, its a 1k not an SP, i take mine everywhere without any problems. so when i take my 1k to my friend's studio, does that mean its not mine anymore?

I think that people get too caught up in what other equipment top producers use and they get deluded into thinking there beats will sound just as good.

If madlib said he made his beats on a 'Speak and Spell' i bet everyone would wanna go buy one or start ranting and raving about it.

People need to stop making such a big issue about what other people use and start banging out some sick beats on whatever equipment best suits them.
