I guess i'm a minimalist... all i got is an XL and a reel to reel.

Shyt, i even record my beats in mono.

nah i don't have any monitors if that's what you meant. i have a pair of headphones tho, the AKG something somethings.. very nice and comfortable!


Of course i have a stereo set at home, i usually just use that to listen when i'm not sampling

I'm not a minimalist, I'd love to have every piece of equipment possible...I just aint no baller or have ballers for parents.
Setup:

MPC 1000
Cheap stanton turntable/mixer
$120 Yamaha keyboard
Cubase System 4 w/ m14 interface and Cubase SL
V6 Series 2 KRK monitors...
trying to hopefully get a MPC 4000 or 2000XL MCD and some good synths for my keyboard...we'll see.

I make mixdowns inside the MPC and transfer them across using a card reader. Hope to get the SP-404 and a digital multitracker at some point too, but it'll be a painfully long time before I can afford that stuff.
