Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By supernatural Thu Sep 08, 2005 10:08 pm
I just got an MPC 2000 from ebay and i found some drum samples on the internet, loaded them to a floppy disk, put the disk into the mpc and tried to load the sounds onto the drum pads but I cant play them back. Its like nothing happened. Could someone tell me if im doing something wrong or tell me step by step what to do to fix this? It would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Super, what color is your hair and what style is it in right now.

There's a point to this.

you have speakers right? some people think the vents on the mpc are speakers...

you probably werent actualy assigning the sounds to pads. when you load the sound up, hit the pad you want it to be on BEFORE you press DO IT.

then you should hear something. if that dont work, then something wrong wit your volume somewhere

No, i dont have speakers hooked up to the unit. Maybe thats my problem?
I just figured the mpc would play back the sound without it
