A rookie with a question

iight I kno am prolly bout to sound dum but I had my mpc 1k for a while and for a rookie am makin ok shit but I wanted to invest in a synth to help my sound but the thing is I dont kno wha kind to get or even if its the right next step I jus need some suggestions on if i should go a head and cop a synth and if so wha are some good ones to go wit the mpc 1k to help a rookie out

First I'll move this to the newbie forums. The usual keyboards are what people seem to favor. Motif, Triton and Fantom. All of them pretty good at what they do, different ways of doing it but still good. If you strapped for cash midi keyboards are a nice thing to do while u build up that cash. Of course the 3 big boys I mentioned can be used as midi keyboards also. but a little oxygen 8 midi keyboard can use the samples in your mpc and u roll from there with out much of a dent in your pocket.

on the realz...go to a pawn shop and buy something you can afford now....WHY?? so you can learn the basic functions of midi and channels, programming, etc......it wont' cost you much, but you will, imo, appreciate an old piece just as much as a new piece and you might be able to freak it in ways that have never been discovered.......

Roland JV1080's are hot synths and you can pick them up cheap
