Pitch shifting samples into different tones

Luigi, there aren't 10 semitones between any two keys on a piano/keyboard, there is only one!

I'm sure the "+10" that cyrus and others refer to doesn't relate to semitones.

Believe me, if your using a computer program, 100 cents should correlate to one semitone. Just try it and report back.

Ooohhh, you're prolly right. I thought that the pitch Adjustment in the PARAMS screen was set to semi-tones. My bad. Well, whatever division the MPC2000xl uses for pitch adjustment plugged into my aformentioned equation should equal what Luigi wants. And what Cyrus said is a more detailed version of what I said, i just didn't think to give you sharps. Again, my bad.
