turntable w/ mpc1000

i have taken a seach already, but cant find the most appropiated answer.

i got an old belt-drive turntable and a normal amplifier( which is for listening only, not for music production), how can i plug among these gears,and what cable i need, cos i really want to start sampling from vinyl, hope y'all buddies can help me...thx

U know what its these kind of questions that really pisses people off IMO. But anyways think like this if u having something going out whats the opposite of that? If u have something going in whats the opposite of that? So now use that and u should be able to figure it out. Also look at the type of connector on your turntable and the connector on your MPC. What are they? Now go search on Musicians Friends or something and find the cables or adapters. Simple and easy. Not being rude but people are gonna tell u to search.

dood the answer to this is GET A TECHNICS 1200.
it wil last u for the rest of your life and not **** up. trust me.
i been through a couple tables but my two 1200s are ancient and work like they new. do it, do it, do it. and hey u can always use the Belt from your old table to slap yor kids around.

and if you dont have a mixer or console board, then just run your table into your ol' amp, and run your amp's master RCA's to your mpc... but you'll have to buy these two little pieces that the RCA go into and it makes them 1/4" size to fit into yo MPCizzle. my vocab sucks i hope u understand my ass. here i took a pic of the pieces, i gots sum...

if only i had the patience to customize it. or if only akai sold beige/white/grey/anything other than **** blue/red faceplates ..then alota ppl would buy em, ,i know i would.

Ditto. Had both my 12's since '91. I only replaced the pop up light and swapped out the RCA cables for the longer gold RCA Monster Cables.
They r built 2 LAST!!!!!
