I hate most modern R&B, but I have to admit I dug that Amerie track with the Meters sample. Probably because it didn't sound like every other copycat R&B turd on the radio.

I think most of the stuff on radio is a big bag o' sh#t!!!!!!

I like R&B but when they use samples it doesnt always sound right to me. TO me the worst is if its a loop or sample that was used in a recent hiphop hit (like J-Lo/Mariah's ish). Anyway, off top some that I liked were:

no love- erykah badu
got til its gone-janet
reality- elusion
so good-davina

Yo, that track "So Gone" by Monica was sick. "Why Don't We Fall In Love?" by Amerie was dope too. It is a sad day in the world when the R&B producers use more samples than the Rap producers...
