Yo dr foo...you know what got me thinking about the fact korg may come out with a new triton or something new is because in music magazines 140 dollar rebate is only for tritons (studio, classic and le) not the karma... i guest because if they come out with a new workstation people will stop buying the old tritons or the price will go down so theyll lose money on them soon so thats why there putting out these rebates to get rid of them if they can. Also sine the karma is not of the triton desent but its related they dont got to try to get rid of it much.

Buy a Korg Karma. It's really similar to the LE but a few hundred cheaper. If you don't know how to play the thing then why does it matter if you have a few more sounds???

Tip: if you are thinking about the Triton LE and you are *not* interested in the sampler unit it but you are intereseted in the sounds of the 'full' triton (all the effect, upgradeable with sampleroms and MOSS) you may want to think about getting a Karma....

The triton LE has less effects (effects are important to make Korgs sound good) and cannot take in the MOSS board (that's kinda of a kool new synth built in) nor can it take in sampleroms (that's roms with new sounds on it)...the karma can do this but it can not take in an extra 'sampler' board like the le.
