MIDI Exclusive Save

Does anyone know how to do a MIDI exclusive save?

I MIDI my MPC 4000 and the Triton Studio together, with the MPC as the master seq. How do you guys save your MIDI projects?

Right now I save the templet on the Triton (tracks and sounds used per MIDI Track) and I save the MIDI seq. file on the MPC.

Is there a better way?

Don, I need to put up some music on your Soundclick account so peeps here in the forums can constructively criticize my artwork and give me some homegrown pointers on what's what so I can truly grow to SuperSaiyan 5!

I usually midi sequence with my MPC. If you take the midi out from your Triton,and put it in to the midi in A of your Mpc,and then take the midi out of your Mpc and put it in to the midi in of your Triton. Go to the sequence page of your Triton,and then go to the main page of your mpc,and look at the lower left side of thr screen,and you'll see the word out,and to the right of it you'll see the word part. Highlight and turn the word part,and you'll see out A. To the right of it you should see the the words CH 1. That's channel one of your triton. Tap a pad,and you should be able to hear what ever sound is assigned to that track on the Triton. If you look in to the middle part of the main sequence screen of your Mpc you'll see Pgm change, highlight it,and if you tun your dail on your Mpc it'll also change the sounds in your Triton. If you press open window on your Mpc while got program change highlighted you should see banks. Input all the info that coincides with that of the Triton,and also turn bank change on. If you want another midi track then repeat those steps but change the midi channel number to whatever midi channel is on the the Triton. Each track number on the Triton is the same as the midi channel of that track. (track 1 midi channel 1,track 2 midi channel 2 etc...) If you do this with every track,and save properly when you load up that song it'll automatically load the Triton.
